"Small enough to be family,
big enough to care!"

Sunday Service

The church council meet yesterday and discuss about the reopening of our church for worship service. Church will finally be open, but with conditions, receiving communion will be postponed for now. There will be NO social gathering before or after Service, physical distancing will be in effect. The Church building will not be available to outside groups for the time being. We again want to THANK all of you for the support given during these trying times. Our finances have been good during this time of uncertainty, people calling each other giving support. We can THANK GOD for keeping us safe. Going to worship is not simply going to a regular meeting of an organization. Worship is the source and summit of our faith, and it’s when we receive Jesus’ real presence in the Eucharist. We’ve not been able to do this for three months and missed the most important liturgical feasts of the season: Holy Week, Easter Sunday, the 50-day Easter season, Pentecost hence the difficult dilemma. A strict set of safety measures are to be implemented in our church building as we reopen. Our one key goal is to ensure that our worship space is safe for all people, the last thing that we want is to be an infection hotspot that endangers our members and the broader community. IF YOU FEEL SICK OR IF YOU VISITS ANY HOT SPORT KINDLY DON'T COME TO CHURCH SERVICE STAY HOME. The biggest challenge we currently face is the continuous sanitation of our church building. We have already started to look at spacing people throughout the sanctuary to maintain physical distancing. You will be ushered inside the church build and after the service you will also be ushered out. The drop box is still available for your envelope. We know that some of our people will not feel comfortable in large crowds just yet, so we are also making upgrades to our technology so that we can continue to live-stream our services. That is an area of ministry that has been very well-received during our time away from the sanctuary. Please join us on You Tube live service at 10:30am The safety of our pastor, volunteers, church members, and all those we serve is the core value at the center of our decisions about reopening for in-person activities. Keep safe and thanks for your patience.
